For four generations, Mewinzha Ondaadiziike Wiigaming has been transforming the lives of birthing families.
We are calling upon friends and the community to help share about our work and to help to establish a permanent home for Mewinzha on 100 acres of land in Bemidji. We’re hoping to raise $50,000 to bring this vision to life.
We are excited to embark on this journey together and what will come for our community from this new sacred space.
Mewinzha Ondaadiziike Wiigaming (Long Ago Women Birthing in Lodge, Home or Hospital) is a Native American non-profit organization that is located in the heart of Bemidji, Minnesota. Mewinzha Ondaadiziike Wiigaming is an all-female Anishinaabe organization that is committed to providing community-centered holistic care for all women, children and families.
We are the region’s only Native provider that braids both western and traditional knowledge of health, wellness, and community into practice throughout the holistic health journey of our relatives.
